To Gain … Or  Not To …

It pains

When one doesn’t gain

That what he sought.

But what

When one is not to gain

That which he seeks?

Is it now pain?

Or is it disdain?

Or is it dismay?

when he doesn’t get

he may accept.

But what

when he is to accept

that he isn’t to gain?

In such

Where there’s plurality

One need prioritise.

But aint

Affect and intellect

Thus, aint

To accept such priority

A difficulty premise

Sane and simple

Painful, disdainful n dismaying?
